NOTE: These ear savers are made-to-order and may take a couple days to print. Please allow extra time for these to be mailed out.
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, front line hospital workers were left with a shortage of personal protective equipment. Danbury Hackerspace formed the CT PPE Project and recruited volunteers to 3D print headbands for protective face shields. The Sky Blue Designs Printrbot Simple was called into action, and we printed 250 headbands. The group as a whole distributed over 2000 shields to fill the PPE gap. We continue to donate ear savers to front line workers.
