Featuring a sky blue and pink swirled focal with purple, white, and blue dangle accents, these earrings are reminiscent recessive colored budgie’s pastel feathers.
Inspired by colorful bird feathers, earrings in the Bird Inspired Table Cut series represent six members of the avian order. The focal is a Czech glass table cut bead – so named because it is made with a mold, coated, then the coating is ground off the top and bottom while on a table. The final step is polishing the bead by heating it in a flame one more time. Beneath are three dangling fire polished round beads that coordinate with the bird’s plumage. Budgies are also known as budgerigars or parakeets.
